Here is some random stuff, from polymer clay models to dollhouses to art metals. There is something highly satisfying about making a tangible art object.

Polymer clay, sead beads, toothpick

Fimo clay, a present for two lovely people on their wedding day.

This is a polymer clay project I did, based from an idea which turned into a drawing which turned into…this. It was a gift for my wonderful French horn teacher, Jim Perkins, and his wife, Boni. Poor Mozart is having a bad wig day.

This is a collection of faeries I sculpted with fimo. Each was “captured” and “documented” as a specimen. Specimen 1 is labeled Welsh Grey, scientific name Hermian Ellylldan. Specimen 2 is known as Sun Fae, or Sidhe Lumino. Specimen 3 is the Golden Deva, or Prana Aura. Specimen 4 is the Mountain Faery, also known as the Fatum Gwyllion. Specimen 5 is the Fateful Woman, or Femmes Fatales.
The next two photographs are of a metal box I created, made to hold lucky pennies. Surrounding the outside of the box are the words: let their symphony make it rain.
